The ShareCharge app is live. You can now find, book and pay for charging at private charge points near you, or rent out your own home charger to other EV drivers. That's a big milestone for us. But we know an app only becomes truly good once real people start using it in their daily lives. That's why we're looking for testers.
Why we're looking for testers
We started ShareCharge because we ran into the same charging problems as so many other EV drivers. We've built the app we wished we'd had ourselves, but a good app isn't made behind a laptop alone. We want to know how ShareCharge works on an ordinary Tuesday evening, when you need to charge and don't want any surprises. What feels easy, what's unclear, and where do you get stuck? Your experiences help us decide what to improve and which features to build next.
What we ask of you
As a tester, you use the ShareCharge app for one month. During that month, you charge at least twice a week through the app and share your experience with us after your charging sessions: what went well, what could be better and anything that stood out. On top of that, we'll schedule two test sessions together. We'll go through the app with you and see how charging works in practice. For those sessions, we'd love to visit you and film you and your charging moment.
What you get in return
We cover the electricity costs of your charging sessions during the test month, and you receive €250 in gift vouchers as a thank you. On top of that, you get to help shape an app that makes charging in the Netherlands easier, closer and fairer for everyone.
