We're currently in the final stages of preparing for the launch of ShareCharge Netherlands. An important part of that: making sure our app works smoothly with charging stations once we go live. That's why we've started testing compatibility with two brands that are common among both private and business charging point owners in the Netherlands: Easee and Zaptec.
What we're testing
At ShareCharge Netherlands, everything revolves around smartly and reliably connecting charging point owners (hosts) with EV drivers (renters) who want to charge. To make that work well, our app needs to be able to communicate with the charging station itself. Think of things like starting and stopping a session, and reading usage data.
Easee and Zaptec are two brands we regularly see among our future platform users. That's why we chose to start with these first.
